Rebecca Oertli, Juilliard and University of Texas graduate, has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the USA, Canada, Japan and Europe. She recently appeared as a soloist with the Kiev Symphony, the Texas Festival Orchestra and the Cluj Romania Orchestra among others. Enjoying a diverse career as both a classical and crossover artist, she has toured and performed with such acts as Josh Groban, the Irish Tenors, Danny Oertli and the multi-platinum Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

In 2009, Rebecca joined the faculty of the University of Northern Colorado. She previously served as the advanced violin instructor at Schreiner University and as a conductor with the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio. Passionate about making a difference through music, Rebecca co-founded an ongoing violin program for impoverished children in Romania and the Ukraine and was awarded a Juilliard String Teaching Fellowship. She also recently launched “Rebecca Oertli Fiddle Camp," a two week summer program focused on Celtic, World Music and Texas Fiddling.

Rebecca has performed with the San Antonio Symphony, Austin Symphony and as concertmaster of the Kingsville Symphony, Mid-Texas Symphony and the Symphony of the Hills among others. Rebecca is a founding member of Austin’s Angels string trio who were lauded by the Houston Chronicle as “the string players answer to the Eroica Trio” as they dazzled Texas audiences and performed live on NPR.
